Program Structure

  • These are the heart of the program—live, interactive seminars where participants dive deep into essential topics like biodiversity, evolution, and conservation strategies. Each session is led by an experienced facilitator and incorporates engaging visuals, real-world examples, and thought-provoking questions to build a strong foundation. These sessions also prepare participants for the rest of the program, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to critically examine today’s environmental challenges.

  • To enrich the learning experience, participants will independently watch selected episodes from the Our Planet documentary series. These captivating visual stories highlight the beauty and vulnerability of Earth’s ecosystems. By exploring complex ecological relationships and the human impact on nature, participants are encouraged to reflect, empathize, and deepen their understanding of the planet’s interconnected systems—all at their own pace.

  • Learning becomes more powerful when it’s collaborative and experiential. In this component, participants work together to research and present on key environmental themes, engage in guided discussions to share perspectives, and explore natural history and biodiversity museums through virtual tours. These activities blend collaboration, curiosity, and exploration—bridging theory with lived experience in an engaging and interactive way.

  • This is where learning gets applied! Participants will take on a series of fun, thought-provoking, and real-world-inspired challenges designed to blend science, creativity, and critical thinking. Each challenge encourages participants to explore biodiversity through different lenses—science, technology, engineering, math, and even journalism. They spark curiosity, encourage teamwork, and empower participants to see themselves addressing environmental problems.

  • Throughout the program, participants will connect with leading Egyptian experts—scientists, conservationists, sustainability educators, and innovators. These live sessions offer behind-the-scenes insights, career journeys, and open Q&As. Participants will gain direct exposure to the people working at the forefront of environmental change and leave inspired by their stories.

  • The program culminates in a team-based Action Project, where participants apply their learning to design a creative solution to a real environmental challenge in Egypt. With support from mentors, each team will choose a topic, conduct research, and propose a project—such as a conservation campaign, a biodiversity awareness initiative, or a local sustainability plan. This is a chance to turn ideas into impact, strengthen leadership skills, and take meaningful steps as changemakers.
